Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

The journal ECOFORUM is published three times a year, in January, May and  August.

For the issues published in January, the manuscripts must be submitted online until 1st October, for the ones published in May, until 1st of March and the ones for the issue published in August, until 1st of June.

Papers should be written in English and submitted in final camera-ready form (for Romanian authors we ask to submit also the Romanian translation of the paper).

Please pay serious attention to the English version translation correctness.

We recommend that the papers should be thoroughly structured in order to ensure the clarity of the content as well as the essence of the approached topic.

All the articles must present original researches.

An copyright form will have to accompany your submission (the signed copyright form has to be scanned). You can get the .PDF form version on-line (see the link bellow). Authors are responsible for obtaining any security clearances. All authors have to sign the copyright transfer form. There are some restrictions regarding the length of the copyright file, so please read carefully the instruction provided there.

 

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION GUIDELINES

 

As an author, you are kindly advised to use the paper template of the journal ECOFORUM. This way you have nothing to change in terms of paper and text format.

Simply applying the styles defined in the document will be sufficient.

Author name, affiliation and complete address are to be placed underneath the title. In case of multiple authorship of a submitted paper, the affiliation and complete address of each author must be specified.

 

It is mandatory to submit your original work in Microsoft Word format (DOC) by using our on-line manuscript submission system. You have to "Make a Submission" and upload your paper by using the on-line interface.

We are unable to process files sent by E-mail.

 

We will do the final formatting and all necessary format conversions of your paper.

Papers must have an even number of pages: 4, 6 or 8. At least 50% of the last page should be occupied by text.

Before making a new submission and sending the paper file (Work), you must be sure:

• It was written by the Author(s) indicated in the Work;
• The material of the Work was not published in any other publications before;
• The material of the Work is not and will not be presented for publication to any other publications;
• The Work does not contain statements, which do not correspond to reality, or material, which may infringe upon the intellectual property rights of another person or legal entity, and upon the conditions and requirements of sponsors or providers of financial support;
• All references used in the Work are indicated and, to the extent the Work incorporates text passages, figures, data or other material from the works of others, the undersigned has obtained any necessary permissions.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

    

2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.

   The text respects the formatting rules outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

   The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

3. Where available, a permanent on-line link for the references have been provided.

   You may use some free tools for this task: http://refassist.ieee.org or http://www.crossref.org/SimpleTextQuery (please do a search on the web if you get invalid 404 pages on the links above to find out the new ones).

4. All authors have to agree to the terms of the copyright form. This form must be signed by all authors and uploaded toghether with the manuscript within the SUPPLEMENTARY FILES section.

   The author understands that the submitted manuscript will not be evaluated if the conditions presented in the Author Guidelines are not respected and the manuscript is not accompanied by the copyright form, signed by all authors.
